"The LORD will not suffer
the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the
wicked." Proverbs 10:3
"O give thanks unto the
LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the
redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemedfrom the hand of the
enemy."
Ps. 107:1&2
This is Sister Hamilton reporting victory over
sin today through the Grace and Divine Mercy of God. I don’t have to live with
guilt anymore!
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I
John 1:9
At this time, I would like to share the
testimony of my salvation and call to Holiness.
I am so glad to be born again: born of the Water
and the Spirit.
I deeply appreciate the precious blood of our
Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. I’ve been led
to repentance to receive the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I have been baptized in the name of Jesus
according to
Acts 2:38—
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
I received the gift of the Holy Ghost and speak
in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance according to Acts 2:4—
"And they were all filled with the Holy
ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance."
I received the Holy Ghost calling on the name of
the LORD according to Acts 2:21—
"And it shall come to pass, THAT WHOSOEVER
SHALL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED."
I strictly believe in
Acts 4:12—
"Neither is there salvation in
any other: For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we
must be saved."
I come to bear record that God has given me
eternal life, and this life is in his Son. I John 5:11—
"And this is the record, that God hath
given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."
I do not regret my spiritual reconciliation
because I know His Word is TRUTH.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become
new."
II Cor. 5:17
Upon accepting Christ’s likeness, I heard the
call in prayer—
"WHEREFORE COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE
YE SEPARATE, saith the Lord, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; AND I WILL RECEIVE
YOU,
"AND WILL BE A FATHER UNTO YOU, AND YE
SHALL BE MY SONS AND DAUGHTERS, saith the Lord Almighty." II Cor. 6:17-18
The ministry to which the Lord has called me is
the call that was spoken to me at the age of twenty, over 30 years ago. I was on
a three-day-and-night fast at that time.
I heard a scripture verse from within but did
not know where it was found in the Bible. Upon hearing the words of the Lord I
began to weep—I couldn’t help myself. I tried to stop crying, but couldn’t.
I was at work at the time and I didn’t have a
Bible with me, so I had to wait until I got home. The pressure of the words
spoken by the Lord caused my inward parts to tremble. All I felt was a great
unworthiness of the call. I felt inadequate and unqualified for it. I remember I
began to feel burdened, but at the same time I felt like a higher control
was surrounding my being.
My call came from
Isaiah 58:1—
"Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice
like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob
their sins."
After some years in the ministry, I heard,
"Sell all that thou hath and give to the poor."
Rev. 3:18-19—
"I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in
the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be
clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine
eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."
"As many as I love, I
rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."
The Holy Spirit kept giving me spiritual
inspirations in prayer for assurance to know that He is God, and beside Him
there is none else.
I have always loved to pray. I’ve always felt
that if I could just pray I would feel better. Some of the experiences I have
had with God I shared in my book, Treasures of the Heart.
I was taught to pray by my parents—they taught
me to trust the fear of the LORD, listen for righteousness, and obey
instruction. I thank God for Godly parents!
The blessing of the Lord has also granted me a
wonderful husband who is a promoter from his heart. The Lord has used him to
encourage and stand with me to fulfill the task designed for my life. Down
through the years, we have shared the ministry together. I am very appreciative
of his love to care, and to vision the hope within, and before us.
I give all the Glory to Jesus and I pray the
message shared today will be a divine blessing for your soul.
Note: I do not share my
conviction to condemn another, but just to praise God for where He has brought
me from.
